• Ursuline Preparatory School is caring, faith guided and all-round in outlook and aims to help children flourish academically while growing in confidence and character.

• Will suit families wanting a Catholic prep where community, kindness and secure academic foundations all matter.

Admissions at Ursuline Preparatory School are traditional, family facing and values led, and should appeal to families seeking a Brentwood prep with a Roman Catholic identity and a classic independent-school feel. It should suit parents who want a smaller preparatory environment where pastoral care, faith and strong early foundations sit together.

Scholarships are not the main headline here. Families choose Ursuline for its ethos, family feel and secure preparatory foundations rather than for a heavily promoted awards culture.

The overall picture is established, warm and quietly ambitious, with the school presenting itself confidently as a prep with sport, school life and a Catholic ethos at the centre of its identity. Parents should still visit because the key question is whether the school's tone and values match the atmosphere they want for their child.

Assessment at Ursuline Prep is teacher led, carefully paced and clearly communicated, with close attention to the core curriculum and to each child's confidence as they move through the school. Families should expect a prep that values both progress and pastoral steadiness.
