• Town Close is vibrant, child centred and future focused and aims to build firm foundations for a lifelong love of learning and a strong next step.

• Will suit families wanting a standalone Norwich prep where broad childhood, strong teaching and confident senior-school preparation all matter.

Admissions at Town Close are polished but still child centred, and should appeal to families seeking a standalone Norwich prep with a clear sense of identity and strong preparation for what comes next. It should suit parents who want children to enjoy a broad childhood while still benefiting from a prep that takes senior-school destinations seriously.

Bursaries are a visible part of the admissions picture, and the school also publicly celebrates a strong scholarship and awards story for leavers. That combination of access support and next-step success strengthens the overall offer.

The overall picture is lively, confident and very clearly prep school in tone, with the school stressing that every moment matters and that it offers a broad dynamic curriculum for ages 3 to 13. Parents should still visit because the key question is whether the atmosphere feels both nurturing and sufficiently ambitious for their child.

Assessment at Town Close is regular, well communicated and carefully pitched, with secure tracking of the core subjects and thoughtful preparation for senior-school entry. Families should expect a prep that values confidence and love of learning while still keeping outcomes firmly in view.
