• Our Lady's Preparatory School is caring, values led and intentionally community minded. The tone is modest, steady and rooted in the idea that younger children flourish best when standards and kindness sit comfortably together.

• Will suit families who want a smaller Crowthorne prep with a clear Christian ethos, close community feel and a gentle but serious junior-school rhythm.

Admissions at Our Lady's Preparatory School are warm, guided and quite personal, with the strongest appeal for families who want a clearly values-led primary setting rather than a highly commercialised prep-school process. The school is likely to matter most to parents who want early-years and junior education that feels close knit, purposeful and gently faith shaped.

Scholarships are not really the point here. The stronger proposition is a smaller, values-led junior school experience where families are likely to care more about atmosphere, care and secure academic basics than about awards.

The overall picture is modest rather than showy, and the school is likely to rely more on direct trust, ethos and local reputation than on a large digital footprint. That makes a visit important, especially for families who want to see how the school's Roman Catholic identity, pastoral care and classroom standards come together in practice.

Assessment at Our Lady's Preparatory School is likely to be teacher led, regular and focused on secure early foundations in reading, writing, mathematics and behaviour. The attraction should be close knowledge of each child and steady confidence building rather than an over-engineered prep-school data culture.
