• Oak Tree Primary School is purposeful, community minded and shaped by a clear islamic ethos and aims to combine secure learning with clear character formation.

• Will suit families seeking a junior school in Surrey where a clear islamic ethos and close pastoral attention both feel real.

Admissions at Oak Tree Primary School are personal and suitability led, and should appeal most to families who want a smaller Islamic primary where children can be known closely. It should suit parents who value a faith-informed environment, a calm junior-school atmosphere and a school choice that feels more relational than performative.

Scholarships are not the main draw at this age, even where future senior-school awards may become part of the story later on. Families choose the school for the quality of the junior years, the atmosphere and the strength of the next-step preparation.

The overall picture is reassuringly clear, with Oak Tree Primary School coming across as a small school community with a clear Islamic ethos, an early-years entry point visible in the overall shape of the offer rather than a school trying to be all things to all families. Parents should still visit because the decisive question is whether the school's culture, scale and everyday tone feel like the right fit for their child.

Assessment is teacher led and closely tied to the basics, with careful attention to reading, writing, mathematics and day-to-day classroom confidence. Parents should expect regular progress checks and clear communication, but not the kind of high-pressure test culture that can distort the primary years.
