• Will suit families seeking a Norfolk prep with generous grounds, good pastoral visibility and a clear all-through link for the next stage.

Admissions at Langley Preparatory School at Taverham Hall are welcoming but well organised, with the school clearly used to helping families judge fit across nursery, pre-prep and prep. The overall feel will suit parents who want a spacious Norfolk prep with an all-through connection and visible pastoral care.

Scholarships are not the main draw at prep stage, though the all-through link may appeal strongly in its own right. The broader attraction is the combination of pastoral care, space and personalised academic support.

The overall picture is strong, with the school described as a co-educational day school set in extensive grounds and known for personalised learning, small classes and Forest School experience. Parents should still visit to see whether the balance of warmth, stretch and outdoors culture feels right for their child.

Assessment blends close classroom tracking with secure preparation for the move through the prep years and on to senior school. Parents should expect regular feedback, strong support for core skills and a school that uses evidence of progress to guide the next step thoughtfully.
