• Kew College is nurturing, individualised and aspirational, aiming to blend close pastoral knowledge of each child with strong academic foundations.

• Will suit families looking for a Richmond prep with a warm tone, personalised attention and clear senior-school purpose.

Admissions at Kew College are welcoming and clearly staged, with the main point of entry through nursery and an intentionally low-drama process for families joining later if places arise. The overall feel is well suited to parents seeking a Richmond prep where nurturing, personal attention and London senior-school preparation sit together.

Scholarships are not the main draw at this stage. The stronger appeal is a smaller Richmond prep where children are known well and prepared carefully for the next step.

Published information is easy to picture, with personalised education and a warm co-educational prep identity both clearly visible. Parents should still test whether the school's tone feels genuinely child centred and quietly ambitious rather than simply polished.

Assessment begins with careful observation and informal checks in the nursery and reception years before becoming more structured across the prep school. Parents can expect secure core-skill tracking, regular feedback and thoughtful preparation for senior-school entry.
