• Haileybury College is outward looking, opportunity rich and community minded, with academic ambition, boarding life and a strong co-curricular culture all central to the school's identity.

• Will appeal to families seeking a co-educational boarding and day senior school with academic direction, purposeful pastoral care and a clear sense of identity.

Admissions at Haileybury College are broad based but clearly selective, especially for families weighing up day, weekly or full boarding routes at 11+, 13+ or sixth form. The process is well organised and encouraging, but it still asks whether the child will thrive in a substantial co-educational boarding environment.

Scholarships, entrance awards and bursary-style support form part of the wider proposition here. Even so, many families choose the school as much for character, opportunity and fit as for any award.

Published information is clear and substantial, with a well-developed picture of day and boarding life, academic expectations and co-curricular breadth. Families should still test whether the atmosphere feels genuinely warm as well as impressive, particularly if boarding is part of the plan.
