• Felsted is broad, future facing and quietly self-assured, with ambition, character and opportunity treated as mutually reinforcing.

• A compelling option for families who want a substantial co-educational day or boarding school with a confident all-round offer, a strong campus feel and plenty of room for pupils to branch out.

Admissions at Felsted School are polished, clearly selective and highly practised across day and boarding entry points. The school clearly knows how to speak to families who want breadth, reputation and a sizeable independent-school platform without feeling stuck in one narrow mould.

Scholarships and means-tested support are a meaningful part of the published offer, which is reassuring at this fee level. The school is keen to signal that talent, not just means, has a route in.

Published information is strong, with substantial material on boarding, academic life, sport, co-curricular provision and financial support. That gives families something real to work with before a visit, though the final judgement will still depend on whether the school's scale and tone fit the child.
